Training Ground is a free programme run at Football Clubs in London that will improve your skills and get you ready to start your career.

Training Ground can help you find Employment Education or Training, if you are:

• Aged 16-24
• Not in education, employment or training
• Struggling to start your career.

Training Ground is a free mentoring programme with Football Clubs across London that will improve your skills and get you ready to start your career, opening the door to the workplace or further education or training. Over the last 2 years the programme has helped 150 young people into work, while helping another 204 into further education (trainings, qualifications, etc). Training Ground is about more than football – it is about helping people find meaningful and rewarding employment. Having completed the programme young people have gone on to work in a wide range of sectors including:

• Construction,
• Retail,
• Stewarding
• Coaching
• Hospitality.

• We’ll help you improve your physical and mental health
• Optional work experience and volunteering opportunities
• Behaviours, attitudes and attributes for work
• Employability skills development
• Develop and improve key skills such as team work, communication and goal setting.

Participants must also reside within the Greater London Authority area in one of the following boroughs:

• Central London, Camden, City of London, Hackney, Haringey, Islington, Kensington & Chelsea, Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Wandsworth, Westminster.
