We can all make positive changes to reduce our risks and enhance our health during midlife and beyond.
It’s important that we;
- Sit less, move more.
- Eat a balanced diet.
- Limit our alcohol intake.
- Maintain a healthy weight.
- Get enough sleep.
- Visit our GP if we are concerned about something
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes.
- Get help to quit smoking.
- Get screened for certain types of cancer.
- Avoiding excessive UV exposure.
We know that it’s often those who could benefit the most that are least likely to lead an active life. Many people know that they should be more active but struggle to make the change. Things in their life get in the way. We are determined to help people to make the right choices and to support them to lead a healthy lifestyle
