About EFL in the Community
Established in 2008, and formerly known as the EFL Trust, EFL in the Community is the charitable arm of the EFL
More than 49 million people live within 15 miles of an EFL Club, demonstrating that they really are at the heart of their communities. Offering support 365 days a year, EFL Clubs continue to be at the forefront of tackling some of society’s biggest challenges through targeted initiatives and programmes.
With more than one million people engaged in Club community activity each season and more than one billion pounds worth of social value generated through the range of programmes delivered, the work they do is as prevalent as it has ever been, having a greater impact than ever before
Our core purpose is to support all the Football Club charities in our network to help us achieve our collective vision. We have established a reputation working with both commercial partners and on government contracts to successfully deliver a range of services. We focus on:
- Improving health and wellbeing
- Raising aspirations and realising potential
- Building stronger, more cohesive communities
EFL in the Community aims to support the network by securing programmes for our charities that deliver significant impact in their communities. You can find out more about our programmes here.
